Join MACDL as we gather together to welcome Spring and to honor our award recipients. Come celebrate while reminiscing with old members and meeting new ones. Appetizers will be provided and an open bar will be available.
Tickets are just $25 for MACDL members and $40 for non-members. Please join MACDL or renew your membership to take advantage of the reduced rate for this event. The first year of MACDL membership is only $5, so consider joining today in order to take advantage of the member discount for the event.
We will be presenting the following awards to two of our esteemed members:
- The Brownlow Speer Award is presented annually to recognize those defense attorneys whose appellate work exemplifies the highest standards of excellence in service of those accused of crime. This year’s award will be presented to Jay Barter.
- The Hines-Burnham Award is given in recognition of exceptional service, skill and innovation in the defense of the accused by an attorney practicing for ten years or less. This year’s award will be presented to Melissa Ramos.
